INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated (or 1 tsp dried)

½ tbsp fresh turmeric, grated (or ¼ tsp dried)

Pinch black pepper

2 cups boiling water

2 tsp grass-fed butter or cold pressed coconut oil

2 tsp raw (unpasteurized) honey

DIRECTIONS

Place ginger, turmeric, pepper and water into a small pot. Bring to boil and let simmer covered for 15 min. Strain and pour into mug(s). Stir in butter/oil.

Nutrition boost: Wait for the tea to cool slightly before adding honey to preserve the healthful enzymes.
